Joe Biden’s first few months in office is filled with radical policy…
By: Hayden Cunningham
In 2020, The United States elected the oldest president in its history. Joe Biden is 78 years old, and it shows. For many, the choice was easy when given the option between Biden and Trump. But a lot of voters were led to believe that President Biden would be a moderate democrat. His presidency so far has been anything but “moderate,” and we have yet to see the “return to normalcy” we were promised.
In his first five days in office, President Biden signed more than 30 executive orders. The last four presidents did not sign more than 5 in the first week. These included the following:
- 100 day mask mandate
- Banned discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity
- This includes transgender women (biological males) competing in women’s sports
- Stopped the U.S. from withdrawing from the World Health Organization
- An organization proven to be an arm of the Chinese Communist Party
- Rejoined the Paris Climate Accord
- A terrible deal that Trump pulled out of
- Cancelled the Keystone Pipeline
- One of the reasons for rising gas prices
- Rescinded the 1776 commission
- A counter-curriculum to Critical Race Theory
- Rescinded a law that banned non-citizens from being a part of the Census for congressional representatives
- Halted the Construction of the border wall
- Created the Covid-19 “Health Equity Task Force”
- Distributing vaccines based off race, rather than age which would make more scientific sense
- Reversed the ban of transgender Americans from joining the military
- Made climate change a matter of national security
- Rescinded the “Mexico City Policy”
- A policy that stopped government spending on abortions in foreign countries
Past his first five days, executive orders continue to be signed. These also include:
- Established a White House Gender Policy Council
- Formed the Presidential Commission on the Supreme Courts
- Raised the minimum wage of federal workers to $15 an hour
In his first State of the Union, President Biden showed that his desire for controversial legislation hasn’t stopped. He called for new laws including free college for the first two years at a community college, the ability to hold gun manufacturers liable for gun crime, and a $15 minimum wage for all employees nationwide. He also took credit for the number of vaccines being distributed a day even though his administration was continuing the operation enacted by the Trump White House.
One of the biggest failures of his first several months in office was his immigration policy. After promising to stop construction on the border wall, the DOJ continued to allocate resources for wall construction. There were also photos released of “kids in cages” and family separation continuing at the border. A caravan that halted movement during the border under Trump’s Presidency continued once again after Biden took office. An interview with an illegal immigrant shows him explaining that he wouldn’t have tried to come here if Trump was president. He said he came because Biden was elected. Now, after a series of failed immigration events, Kamala Harris had to make the same statement to illegal immigrants she called Trump a racist for: “Do not come.”
Government spending is also out of control. After spending trillions on a Covid-19 relief package (that was not necessary) and an infrastructure bill (a pork barrel for the far-left), the President is calling for $6 trillion of spending in the 2022 fiscal year. This is irresponsible. The excessive spending of this administration will skyrocket inflation and further increase the national debt. The country will feel the costs of this in the next ten years, most likely in the form of a major recession. The younger generations will pay the consequences of this spending in the future.
From both the executive orders and his daily rhetoric, society is already facing the cost of a Biden administration. Sports around the country (and the Olympics) are seeing more biological men competing in women sports. The result of which includes men in women’s locker rooms, an unfair advantage for the biological men, and female students missing out on athletic scholarships and other opportunities. Biden’s executive order specified that children should not have to worry about “whether they will be denied access to the restroom, locker room, or school sports.” This was so important to the President that he signed the order on his first day in office. On day one, Biden signed a law that will hurt women athletes. States like Florida, for example, are now enacting their own laws to fight the newfound inequality in sports.
If things continue to go his way, Biden may be able to pass even more radical policy that includes:
- Citizenship status for 11 million immigrants here illegally
- How does a President gets away with refusing to prosecute people under the law? If they are here illegally, they need to be deported.
- Critical Race Theory in public schools
- A tax increase
- A nationwide gun ban
- After Biden just implied that the government would use nuclear weapons and F-15s on its people if a revolution occurred
- Big tech censorship on conservative commentary arbitrarily deemed “untrustworthy”
- Statehood for DC and Puerto Rico
- With the objective of adding 4 democratic senators to Congress
- Packing the Supreme Court
This administration continues to stoke racial divide in this country. Both the Vice President and the President continue to characterize the country as “systemically racist,” even though they do not show systemic laws/systems currently in power that promote racism. But days before taking office, Biden advocated for ACTUAL systemic racism in the government by stating that “Our priority will be Black, Latino, Asian, and Native American owned small businesses, women-owned businesses, and finally having equal access to resources needed to reopen and rebuild.”
Recently, Biden created a National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism. The Department of Homeland Security deemed white supremacy as “the most persistent and lethal threat in the homeland.” This is obviously not true, and part of an agenda that alleges racially motivated crime to be the county’s biggest problem (with no evidence to support that). The left continues to characterize the right as racist. What happened on January 6 was horrible, but it was not white supremacy nor is it evidence proving white supremacy to be our biggest threat.
When republicans have control of the executive and legislative branch, they try to keep things the same. They rarely pass policy that causes radical change. For example, try to name several significant pieces of conservative legislation passed by Trump that can’t be undone by Biden with the signing of an executive order?
The left, however, tries to turn every institution into an arm of their ideology. Even the military is seeing a social leftist agenda. They have a new recruitment video that includes a lesbian wedding. They also are advising troops to read literature promoting critical race theory. And if that’s not enough, an air force base hosted it’s first drag show (Maybe that’s not quite as bad as an episode of Blue’s Clues showing a pride parade).
When democrats have power, they use it. While ramming through radical policy, they do everything they can to give themselves more power. Then they refuse to provide rational explanations as to why they are stopping policies that work and starting ones that don’t.
And to the neo-conservatives who voted for Joe Biden over Trump for both a “return to normalcy” and “to restore decency on the foreign stage,” look how grateful China is for a Biden Presidency; for the few Chinese citizens who have CNN, watching the Vice-Presidential debates came with its censorship. When V.P. Pence was asked a question about the country of China, here’s what happened to the CNN feed in the Communist State:
But when Kamala Harris was asked a question on China, the broadcast was never interrupted.
If you think that’s bad, China’s perception on the Biden administration gets worse. A video went viral of a Professor and Communist Party expert in China speaking in a lecture. The expert explained that the Communist Party has not been able to use it’s Wall Street influence to control Donald Trump. He explained that the 2016 election hurt Chinese-American relationships. Professor Di Dongsheng went on to explain why the two countries were able to settle relationship issues between 1992-2016. In his words, he said “[China has] our old friends who are at the top of America’s core inner circles of power and influence.”
Dongsheng further explained that Wall Street was a “channel to rely on,” but was not usable during the Trump administration. he went on to state “But now we’re seeing Biden was elected… the traditional elite, the political elite, the establishment, they’re very close to Wall Street, so you see that, right?”
The video was removed from YouTube.
Joe Biden has already acted more like a fascist than Donald Trump did. And if you think he’s bad, watch what happens if Kamala Harris becomes president. The 2022 midterms are around the corner, and a Republican Congress is the best way of mitigating the radicalism coming out of this White House.
