Following the large tax cut, one of the biggest pieces of legislation from the Republican-controlled segment, many news outlets criticize its contents. In line with constant allegations against the right, Democrats claimed that the tax cut only helped the wealthy, and the average American has to pay the cost of the benefits given to big corporations. Following the announcement by President Trump that the U.S. will be leaving the Paris Climate Accord, CNN called the move “disastrous.” They claimed that it was “irresponsible” of Trump to remove the U.S. from a deal that fought climate change.
